Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (CDN and DDoS/bot protection). To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, available website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Visitor counter (welcome screen)
When the welcome screen plays (once per browser session), your browser sends one anonymous request to the counter service abacus.jasoncameron.dev so the page can show your visitor number. No identifier is stored; the service necessarily sees your IP address for that request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Live threat feed
The live attack feed loads today's most-attacked ports directly from the SANS Internet Storm Center (isc.sans.edu, USA), which receives your IP address with that request. The map's attack sources are public threat-intelligence data; IP addresses shown are masked.
Storage in your browser
Your preferences (language, light/dark mode, colour theme, intro sound) are saved in your browser's local storage, and a session flag remembers that you've seen the intro. This data never leaves your device.
Contact by email
If you email me, I use your message and address only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete it when no longer needed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Die Auslieferung erfolgt über Cloudflare (Verarbeitung der IP-Adresse zur sicheren Bereitstellung, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Beim Willkommensbildschirm wird einmal pro Sitzung ein anonymer Zähler bei abacus.jasoncameron.dev abgerufen; der Live-Feed lädt Port-Statistiken vom SANS Internet Storm Center (USA). Dabei wird jeweils Ihre IP-Adresse übertragen. Einstellungen werden nur lokal in Ihrem Browser gespeichert. Sie haben die Rechte aus Art. 15–21 DSGVO und ein Beschwerderecht bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde.
